We often attribute effort to success – the strength of our will, rather than recognizing that it’s the way in which we attempt to be successful that determines results. In my team and leadership team development projects, I blend my organizational development, leadership, and coaching background (see my professional bio to learn more) to help your team become how you need to be to succeed. Depending on the size of your team, I partner at times with another highly skilled coach and consultant to deliver the results that you’re seeking.
What does it look like to work together?
DISCOVERY > We have an initial consultation to get a sense of your unique team development needs and context, and to clarify the results that you want. This phase also includes one-on-one interviews or focus groups with members of your team.
SCOPE > I go away and draft a team development proposal that outlines the unique objectives that your team needs to achieve the results that you want. We review and revise together until we have agreement on the proposed scope.
DESIGN > Once we’ve agreed to the scope of our work together, I design the option that we’ve agreed to in more detail, with the understanding that this is an ongoing conversation and it can be adapted over time.
IMPLEMENT > I facilitate or help you implement the team development process that we’ve agreed to, including the particular capacity-building practices that will get your team where you want to go (e.g., increase trust and capacity to navigate conflict, clarify roles and responsibilities, develop leaders capacity to coach, offer a learning program on situational leadership, polarity management, etc.) within a timeline and scope agreed to.
