Team Dynamics and Culture: Friday, Nov. 17th, 9am-5pm (Vancouver)
Team dynamics are unique when taking place within a particular professional culture and organization due to their being part of our “work.” They have a huge bearing on effectiveness and productivity, however the intangible effects of organizational history and design, interpersonal relationships, and personalities are difficult to determine when evaluating ultimate task accomplishment and the deliverables of a team. Why do teams behave the way that they do and how do we create better functioning, healthier ones?
Design and Facilitation: Friday, Nov. 24th & Friday, Dec. 1st, 9am-5pm (Vancouver)
The Design and Facilitation 2-part workshop series walks you through what you need to consider when creating a successful event/workshop plan and then provides case-based learning to practice your facilitation goals. It begins by addressing the implicit or “x” factors so that the often unnamed forces at play – those factors that constitute “the water in which we swim ” – can create more successful learning experiences for your participants. By designing for the intangibles right from the start you will create more successful outcomes – whatever those look like for you and your particular event.
(***Note: early rate for both workshops ends Friday, October 27th).
